Conveniently, Rira had rescheduled a number of meetings for the day for the sake of a brand-new trainee. A nervous one at that. The young man had successfully managed to mix important records with older papers, losing them all in the process. While some employees argued that it was entirely his fault, others objected, excusing his error for beginner's mistake and carelessly given responsibility. Rira on the other hand simply watched with no genuine opinion on the matter. For some odd reason, she had stepped in and decided to fix the trainee's mistake. If it was even fixable, to begin with. After a series of objections and minor complaints, she had succeeded in silencing the office. Of course, this meant all her essential work for the day had to be postponed. And while this meant triple the stress, she had held onto her patience, overlooking it for the sake of prestige.
Rira's dark hair blended easily within the crowd. Amidst the jammed traffic and large mob of people, with a black suitcase in hand, she made her way towards the designated building where most of the company's important documents were hidden. It was a small but busy office, quite a distance from Rira's own workplace, disguised as a printing office. Her agent had assumed that she'd be delayed considering the distance let alone the crowd, and in turn rescheduled most of today's work for tomorrow. Of course, Rira was going to take a shortcut and impress her workers, as usual, arriving much sooner than expected.
After a few turns and dodging as much traffic as possible, Rira found herself in a large crowded square. There was practically masses of people, all surrounding the centre of the square. Must be a show going on, she thought to herself not entirely curious to find out. There was no course around the square if she intended to preserve time and so she decided to dive into the audience, shuffling amidst hordes of Chinese people. All this while tightly gripping her suitcase, of course.
