Rira blinked feeling her midriff cut open. Looking behind her, she noticed the freak had broken out. Everything was going at such an inconvenient path right now that Rira barely wanted to hold back her irritated expression any more. Staring at the woman behind her, she gritted her teeth beneath her mask. It wasn't even from the pain, just at the fact how things had needlessly escalated.
"Oh, are we negotiating now? Lucky me." Standing still, she let the blood dripping down her stomach transform into smaller but thicker chains around the woman's spear, breaking it before aiming for the freak's arm. Naturally, she assumed it would not be much of an attack so she turned her body for the sake of creating even more chains, multiple of them. Aiming them for the shoulders of the woman she hoped she would seize her and throw her across the sea.
If that were to fail, she would reflexively jump back and allow herself to fall even further away from her opponent, allowing her to follow her. If she would do so, Rira would quickly catch her this time in the air with the same chains extended from her wound. And then toss her over the deck. It felt like the freak had no way of feeling physical pain and so Rira felt the best opinion in her favour would be keeping as much distance as possible. Trapping her seemed to have been a failure, she would just have to keep her away for the entire trip.
Speaking of the trip, Rira could see land by now. It was nearing closer and closer, a relief.
