It's my Classroom and I Want it Now [INCURSION]

Vieri kicked his feet up on the student desk. The two front legs of the student chair were kicked up high enough in the air any teacher would yell at him for disrespect. Arms back behind his head, a look of ‘just try’ leveled at the classroom door, as of today, this room belonged to him and his mob.
Granted, at the moment the Isabello Family’s mage population consisted of just Diana and him, which meant the corner classroom belonged to Diana and him. If he wanted to increase his family’s population to mages, not just the mundanes he could recruit with promises of money and science, they needed a proper meeting room in the academy. Not out in the multiverses, in the hub of mage activity. If they couldn’t so much as hold a couple dozen square feet of land here, they didn’t have a chance of holding entire countries against the other mages out in his world or the Information Age.
Plus, he wanted it, so he was going to take it. A room to place information or gear in transit between universes, or to talk with each other without having to avoid buckets of human waste or shut up rude fast food service people would be convenient. It was a show of power to have a slot of the academy dedicated solely to them, where others didn’t step ‘or else’. That intimidation would keep people wary. It’d make people shut up and leave when they saw his people coming, or jump in and help him knowing it’s always better to be on the winner’s side.
It was one of the science labs with chemicals already in the cupboards and machinery they could appropriate. The big empty lecture halls were just dumb and desks. ‘Isabello Family Property, Authorized Personnel Only’ was written across the board in red, Italian, and big thick letters, like he’d gone over every line at least five times. He’d purposefully chosen a classroom without many windows, but the door was wide open. Anyone could come in and tell him to fuck off, and anyone could run screaming right back out when they got their head nearly blown off. Some people would try, word would spread, and then people would mostly stop trying. He just had to wait out this first wave of idiots.
