Training was fun, in fact, it was highly regarded in Faye's mind. After all, how in all of the world would she be able to dazzle and are the audience otherwise? She most certainly had raw talent, magic was the thing that drove her, but that meant zilch when training was ignored! So Faye had began training her craft in the training room, because while she trained at her job, it also let her train her new magic, it was genuinely perfect!
Well, mostly. There were way more people around also training than Faye knew what to do with, usually back at her circus, she had maybe eight people around, at most. And most of them took the training areas that she herself would have loved to use. Punching bag that she could have practiced knife training on? Taken. Bars that could have been perfect acrobatics practice? Also gone. Even simple sparring could have at least trained her dimension up. But no, everyone sparring had a sparring partner, and Faye didn't want to be rude. In fact, she didn't want to be rude to anyone and ask to take someone's place at a spot, even as her smile started to strain.
... Maybe she could partner up at a spot not meant for partners? She wouldn't be forcing someone off and upsetting someone, and it couldn't hurt to try! So she skipped up to the first person already training, a young guy that looked totally friendly. And she said as much when she tapped him on the shoulder, talking even before she likely got his attention. "Hi, you look friendly, which means you are! Do you want a training partner? Every spot is taken and the only way to train now is partnering up, so, here we are!"
While this could be very sudden for the mage Faye have picked, she waited for an answer, hands pulled back behind her back and clearly expecting a positive answer. She was asking incredibly politely and happily! At worst, she would be allowed to stick around and not look awkward.
