Wally didn't visit the cafeteria that often. Always thought he could cook better without the Academy helping, despite the fact he was still figuring out what the differences between steamed, grilled and whatevers were and if that was worth knowing. Actually, he still felt like he could do better himself, he just didn't really have a choice, unfortunately. Right now, New York had a ton of food, literal tons, but he didn't want to run through that food right away. That would be beyond stupid, and he was everything but that. And really, the Academy was supposed to provide for the mages, if it actually wanted to help, it wouldn't mind him taking enough food to feed his people down in New York. Hey, he hated help from things or people he didn't know, but he'll take what he could get!
So that had led to him turning on any automated cooking devices, or ordering food that he was pretty sure was edible in his opinion, then leaving the plates, bowls and more all on one table. He clearly wasn't paying much attention to the way the table was beginning to lean to one side, he was just making sure that he himself could eat the food. If the mob were similar to himself, then they should like the same things, or at least be neutral.
So that led to an odd sight of Wally leaning down with narrowed eyes at all the plates, looking for anything he and his people wouldn't eat. He couldn't find anything horrible, yet, and stood straight up again, crossing his arms. "Now just need to get this all to the portal. Should be easy!" He could... push the table! Or, really, anything! Wasn't like he didn't really have enough of an idea of how the hell he was bringing this to the people he saved. No, he was the one who helped them, so he was only going to be more impressive!
Even with these thoughts, Wally didn't move just yet, gritting his teeth and shuffling his feet. Since he was mostly alone in the cafeteria, he wasn't paying much attention to the mages still around, and didn't expect anybody talking to him either.
