This had been a long time coming. That it even took her this long to check this place out showed how distracted she was by having another full universe to explore, plus a whole internet to read. Putting up a sign telling her not to go there was one of the most surefire ways to get her to go somewhere, as long as it seemed like there'd be something interesting behind it. In this case, she'd only heard rumors, but those rumors sounded pretty good. Nuclear materials and biohazard samples? Certainly interesting enough to warrant a look. Some of them didn't even sound overly outlandish given the nature of this place. Her expectations weren't super high, but it was still worth a look.
If nothing else it might get the staff to try to fight her.
Diana didn't even try to be sneaky, nor did she try to hide. She didn't care if anyone knew. Hell the staff finding her was more of a benefit than a drawback. Getting in was disappointingly easy. Her magic wasn't even that well suited to opening locked doors and she had absolutely no trouble. Sure, she had to make is to a few of the doors no longer had hinges or were now chunks on the floor, but that wasn't exactly hard. There was no way something like this would be able to stand up to even a relatively weak mage. It made all this all the more suspicious. Did the academy want people to come in here? A do not enter sign with the promise of dangerous goodies behind it was a pretty good way to do that she supposed. It made the trip almost disappointing.
That said, she was still going to see what they had to offer here. Diana just continued down the hall, openly busting open any door she came across. The first few rooms were a bit disappointing, especially compared to what she heard about this place. A few deadly poisons like arsenic and nightshade here, a few impractical torture devices there, but nothing quite like what people talked about. She hoped there was something better further in.
