It had taken about forty minutes to get to Tokyo city centre aboard the Tsukuba Express line, public transportation in the big cities were nothing if not efficient after all. Finding the hideout was the difficult part though, there were hundreds of places in Tokyo the Yakuza could be using as a front for their criminal activities. Tattoo studios, sushi restaurants, pachinko parlours, it was probably going to be a pachinko parlour. None of the ones near Akihabara station fitted the bill though; they were too clean and touristy, nothing like the movies. Of course then once she’d started wandering about Akihabara Sakura couldn’t help but browse some more of the various shops, maybe play a couple of video games at the cool retro arcade she’d heard about, play a few games of the claw machine.
And so two hours or so later there Sakura stood at the side of the road in a darkened alley near the corner of Keiyo in Kotobashi, a half-eaten teriyaki burger in one hand and an oversized Rilakkuma plush under the other, it was the best five thousand yen ever spent. She’d been staring at the pachinko parlour across the street for a short while now, taking note of the people walking in and out of the so called legitimate business. It was called Hinomaru Kinshicho, Pachinko and Slot, a pretty rough looking building made of corrugated steel with pictures of knockoff anime characters decorating the front entrance. Yeah this definitely had to be the place; there was no doubt about it.
After shoving the last of the burger in her mouth Sakura swung the backpack she was wearing off and onto the ground in front of her, from which she retrieved a black ski mask that she placed over her head, after squeezing her Rilakkuma plush inside so that the head stuck out the top of course. The young girl grinned broadly as she fastened the backpack back into place, her eyes now fixated on the pachinko parlour as she ducked down into a starting position, flexing her leg muscles for a moment before starting to run forwards across the street.
For a moment she ran at a standard pace, rapidly her speed began to build however and soon she had reached the point of a full sprint, then in an instant she was gone.
What resulted was nothing less than complete pandemonium. The sound of a small explosion roared across the entire district, almost instantaneously followed by a second amongst the crunching of steel and shattering of glass, as well as the panicked screams of fleeing bystanders. The street was completely covered in debris as the pachinko parlour now sported a large hole in the side of it, what was more was half a row of pachinko machines leading away from the new entryway had been utterly demolished, rendered into scrap metal that was blasted across the interior of the room, as a shower of small metallic balls bounced and rolls all across the floor. At the end of the row of crumpled machines was Sakura, sitting partially embedded inside one of the machines, her head slumped back in somewhat of a daze though she was softly chuckling to herself, a chuckle that built into a full on roaring laugh.
“BOOYA! That’s what you GET!” She cheered as she jumped back up to her feet, jumping up and fist pumping into the air in celebration of her achievement before striding down what remained of the aisle toward the back room, “Anyone hurt!? No!? Aw yeah I’m getting GOOD at this! Yo Yakuza where you guys at I know you’re here you guys at home huh come on out I just want to talk and junk!”
Sakura was mostly correct regarding the state of those that had been inside, some people had been thrown aside in the resulting impact and a couple had suffered some cuts and bruises but for the most part nobody was severely injured. Those that were stunned by her entry either ducked down and stayed quiet or were quick to run out onto the street, they weren't in danger anyway though so it didn't matter what they did at this point, at least the ones that remained were going to be fortunate enough to see a kick ass Yakuza fight. Had she missed her mark and hit the side of the building a couple of paces to the left or pulverized a few more machines than she did though it could have been a much different situation however, regarding the state of the bystanders. Fortunately for Sakura however she was awesome and never made any mistakes.
