Diana was more oblivious to what was going on around her than Vieri was, what with none of the powers going off around her being very flashy. It probably didn't look like she did much of anything either, the mundanes just started swarming the area, and she knew where to step to stay out of it. Between that and what she assumed was Vieri just randomly punching people, as he did, and a wave of hit burned her a bit but also ended up making some of that water evaporate, she figured everything was fine. Except then Vieri ignored her question and started rambling about something completely unimportant.
Oh, so he had met Guy before. Yeah, randomly killing mundanes sounded like him, that's why he was a bit weird. She didn't understand why anyone would want to fight mundanes, they were pretty boring. Guy also rambled about a bunch of other stuff she only half payed attention to, probably why she didn't actually know his name before now all things considered, but the guy was about as doofy as they came. Diana still couldn't get over how he just lopped some mundane's head off and then chastised her for stealing later. Or that he was flirting with her at all. That was still weird to think about.
But it was hard for her to care about losing mundanes. She supposed it was inconvenient given they worked for Vieri, but they were pretty easy to replace. Plus, there were those incidents she caused, like the time she accidentally caused a small explosion in that one building in Shanghai and--No, she probably shouldn't continue this line of thought. In fact, she should probably change the subject really, really quickly.
"Look, do you want to take over the world or not? We should stop wasting time here and go 'negotiate' with whoever runs this place."
