Faith wasn't sure what that student was doing with that windup of his, given he was swinging a sword and she wasn't anywhere near him, but she wasn't feeling inclined to find out. She couldn't move well, so she did the next best thing and immediately went prone on the floor. The wave of heat passed above her, and it was hot enough to make her sweat even from this distance. All this because someone was putting up posters? Or maybe because of a few silly remarks? Young mages really were terrifying.
But despite the distractions, the posters were going up, and one of the people trying to stop it was now trying to stop that other student. It seemed like they had lost interest in all this. Or maybe they were just getting sleepy because of her own efforts. Whatever the case, all that was left was to clean this up and deal with the rulebreakers wasn't it?
She just nodded with a small laugh while waving her hand dismissively at the other mage. Her legs hurt sure, but she wasn't exactly unaccustomed to being injured. Or slightly on fire for that matter. Faith supposed she should at least take the time to get her legs healed, but getting to the nurse's office on her own would be simple enough.
"But you know," she shakily rose to her feet and hobbled over to the other staff members. "She has a point. No one seems to do that much to punish the students. It's really no wonder they act so unruly. Fighting them clearly doesn't mean much, so maybe we should use some public humiliation and shame to keep them in line. I'll see if I can put them to sleep."
From there they'd be able to just about anything, so it seemed like a good starting point.
