Bloody Mess [Jack]

It all started when a flying creature from the portal in the ceiling swooped in and stole her food, or perhaps more accurately, flew low enough that she was able to attack it. Diana was always interested in fighting those creatures since they were basically dragons and that was really cool, so when one finally got with in her reach she jumped at the chance. Only for another mage to interfere and make the fight kind of sad. Perhaps that was the wrong way to say it. The fight itself was pretty entertaining, but that was the fight against the mage, not the dragon. The other mage basically strangled the dragon and took any possible amusement she might have gotten from it, but at least she had the decency to put up a good fight herself. Good enough that the floor couldn't handle them.
During one of the other mage's attacks, the floor gave out under her and she fell into a mess of pipes. It was tight enough that she didn't want to attempt to climb out with a leg this injured, which unfortunately meant the fight with the mage was over. So she waited it out, felt her leg pull itself back together while she was trying to ignore how much her stomach was rumbling, and climbed out of the hole. It couldn't have taken more than thirty minutes, but by the time she was there, the area was a bit different. First, the dragon was gone, which was odd to think about because it was a massive corpse. The floor was covered in blood, though not much in terms of guts, and the students seemed to have stopped freaking out about what was going on.
Diana herself was still covered head to toe in lizard blood, and had a few unidentifiable things stuck to her from when she went inside the dragon. Which of course meant that the pipes themselves were now covered in blood from her grabbing them and having to squeeze through some tight spaces. And once she was out of the hole, every step she took left bloody footprints behind her. She briefly considered showering off before eating because eating like this was really unsanitary, but she was hungry and she doubted she'd have to worry about it. Last time she got a cold it lasted long enough for her to sneeze once. She was pretty sure she got worse headaches from Vieri. So, rather than do that and worry that she probably got some lizard blood in her formerly open wounds, she decided to get head over to the area that'd let her get another big plate of buffalo wings.
