"Yeah, get moving off! Can't deal with me or my people?!" Wally swung a fist in the general direction of the fire mage and the building she decided to go into, treating the supposed retreat as a small victory. It was the building he and the mob was headed for, but if a chockhold of the building was what she and the other mages were trying then he'll try dealing with it. He was completely unhurt by this point, meant he'd be perfect with his illusions, mostly. And, as a plus, he's pretty sure the invisible girl did something or another, no police have appeared just yet, he did have a plan for when they showed up, but looks like he'd get to hold out on that part. Plus, the fire mage was headed towards her, and he'd bet she had other mages near her. He smiled, he still didn't trust her but hey, she's being pretty freaking useful!
And of course that dog was shooting off, towards the fire mage, like before. That probably was going to get rid of one problem, thank God. He didn't know if the illusion in the buildings did much, but the mage that definitely was in the building wasn't attacking, or appearing, or anything. He would take that as a neutral thing, not good, not bad.
But the mob definitely was noticing the giant signs of magic and, unfortunately, a few were panicking. Panicking enough to be slowing down, or even turning to run, eyes wide. That wouldn't do. Half the mob was illusions created by Wally himself, but they couldn't do much physically without the real mob. And what worth was taking over this city if nobody like himself did it? So he pushed at the backs of anybody slowing down, then ran forward and spread his arms at one side of the crowd, outright blocking the paths of anyone trying to give up or run. He saw a few rush out out from the other side and winced, looks like there's only twenty-four left.
"We are still moving, don't be a bunch of cowards!" Maybe that wasn't the best wording, but Wally charged ahead before the mob's minds could really focus on what he said. "That stuff is not going to hurt you! Hell, if you're all aren't sure, I'll lead. I know all this." He pushed his way to the front, walking backwards to wave them all forward. Surprisingly, nobody else ran, frankly, he was suspecting he'd lose maybe one or two more. That was almost a relief! The building was only a street away, this looked like it would work!
