Part of him expected this to be a terrible idea. Tristan was willing to bet that he was not the best person for trying to get to the bottom of the mystery he accidently stumbled upon, but he was aware that this might be the sort of thing that as few people needed to be aware of. The only other person he brought his findings to were Vieri, and even that was a risky proposition. He didn't think Sparky would actually be the sort to try and use the information for his own gain, but he had been known to be a bad judge of character before. Either way, though, the damage was already done.
With a manufactured carefree air, Tristan entered the rec room, located Jennifer, and approached her with a smile. He'd been trying to psyche himself up for this conversation for a little while now, even if he couldn't really plan anything past his opening statement. Who knew what he'd be told? Who knew what he'd actually end up saying unintentionally? The worst thing he probably could say would be admitting that he'd essentially stalked her for a while because her powers and memory issues made him concerned, but odds were good that he'd figure out some way to make that obvious.
"Oh, hey, kiddo, got a minute?" he asked jovially, his eyes slowly drifting over the rest of the room. It was pretty full, but in a way that worked out in his favor. It was pretty easy to be ignored in a crowd, and this place was full of distractions. Maybe not the sort of place he'd choose to have an important conversation, but it would work well enough.
"I don't know if you've got me in your notes, but we've run into each other a few times now. Enough times for me to notice your memory issues and be a bit concerned. I've actually been wondering, what with your memory loss, what's the last thing you remember from before you started losing your short term memories?"
