In the year 2012, a mysterious illness began to sweep the globe. In its wake, those who survived it were left with immensely powerful supernatural abilities.
As the number of people capable of wielding magic powers increased, they began to organize and seize control of the course of history. Using their powers to travel between parallel universes, these mages forge empires of a scale never before seen. And at the center of it all is the Academy, a neutral institution founded for mages to share their knowledge with each other.
Mages struggle against each other to impose their will upon the multiverse, but there is one threat that unites them all together. In recent months, mysterious entities have appeared. These entities wield power far greater than any one mage, and they seem determined to annihilate all of humanity. The mages will have to set aside their differences in order to beat them. The fate of the multiverse depends on it.
THE BEGINNING OF THE END is an AU Post-Potter roleplay. However, we are only AU in plot, not canon world, so you will still find the same creatures, laws of magic, etc. The variable that makes us AU is original characters and what changes that makes (ex. Ginny married an original character).
OUR PLOT evolves naturally from the activity of the members. If you want to do something, do it! We only ask that you develop it realistically (ex. New Dark Lords don't just suddenly become the big bad - they have to gain allies/affect the world one event at a time).
OUR CURRENT PLOT - A muggleborn extremist has taken over the Ministry. Every pureblood has been fired. She has something over everyone's heads but all are keeping it quiet to prevent complete panic. The blood purists' hands are tied and very incapable. Meanwhile, the Red Capes seem okay with the blood purists being out of power finally. The Order is the only one capable, but do they have the guts to risk the lives of wizarding Britain just to defeat one extremist? Or will they let her reign to keep everyone safe?
