Faith always picked her targets carefully. People had a nasty habit of trying to appear better off than they actually were, and the last thing she wanted to do was screw someone over because of a misunderstanding. This wasn't a misunderstanding though, there was nothing to be misunderstood. Bankers tended to be that way, so they were pretty safe targets. There was one in the Suidenese capital that she knew was pretty ruthless about collecting too. Embarrassing considering if he just gave up 10% of his wealth he could probably feed the entire country for a year. He would never do such a thing of course, but she wasn't exactly intending to give him much of a choice in the matter. By the time she was finished, she was sure the banker would be disgruntled and angry, but when it came down to it, she doubted he'd live any differently than he was now.
Her ship, The Paradise, loomed on the horizon. From this distance it looked more like a small island than a ship. The thing that gave it away was that small islands don't move, let alone move this fast. The roots of the massive tree that made up the ship were paddling along in the water like the ship itself were swimming. It propelled the ship through the water far more quickly than any sail would, making all the foliage from the tree itself and the various plants growing on it rustle loudly. Given the ship was covered in a variety of large fruits and colorful leaves, she knew that going for any amount of stealth was pointless anymore. Fortunately, with as much power as she had as a mage, she no longer needed to be careful.
She darted into the city alone, leaving her crew to pick up supplies, watch the ship, or hit their own targets if they had any. Her focus was set and she didn't intend to look anywhere else. Rather than walk, she squatted on one of the roots of her ship and used her magic have it fling her across the city. It made her stomach lurch every time she did it, but it was by far the fastest way to get from place to place. Freefalling over the city, she looked at all the buildings, using both her own eyes and the additional senses the plants of the cities gave her, until she located the house she was looking for. It was pretty hard to miss given she was attacking in broad daylight and the house was huge. Bigger than most of the other buildings on the island, including those overly flashy government buildings that irritated her so much. Such a waste of wealth.
Something else caught Faith's...well she wasn't quite sure how to describe plant senses in words. Someone was running away from a group of people she could immediately recognize as the police because of the soles of their shoes. Their uniform was distinct and she hadn't seen a pattern like that from anyone else. A closer look with her eyes revealed someone in strange clothing. A mage probably, there wasn't much else it could be. Faith wasn't sure what she did, but all things considered it probably wasn't a good idea to let the mundane police handle mages. Plus, given the obscenities they were shouting, she doubted this mage did anything that terrible.
Faith dropped a single seed from her pocket onto a patch of grass below. With in seconds, it bloomed into a flowering vine plant, towering over even the large building she wanted to rob. The vines climbed up the sides of the nearby buildings, like any vine plant would, and then started extending into the sky where it caught Faith. It was a bit of a detour, but she supposed she could take care of her heist afterwards once the mage was sufficiently far away from the mundanes. Riding on the vines, they darted for the other mage, where she held out her hand to help her onto the vine if the mage so desired.
"Grab on!"
If the mage took her hand, she'd have the vines wrap loosely around her to make a harness so she wouldn't have to worry about falling. Faith was used to moving with her plants, and controlled them like controlling her limbs anyway, so there wasn't much need for her to worry about herself, but in her experience most people didn't take to the sudden movements and high speeds of her plants. It was for the best that she prepare for that.
