"I'm not your horse." Hayako grumbled. Whatever, the important part was that the job was being done. Gripes about moral could be brought up after the mission was over, hopefully with everyone coming back alive.
All this shouting was giving her time to think, and time to stare at the being in a moment she wouldn't be blinded. Far from the first time, she was feeling terribly small; her explosives were all but gone, and her knives weren't exactly going to do much about something the size of a skyscraper. Her best idea so far was to grab mages in danger and get them out of it by phasing them out... Slowly, an idea was occurring to her.
Over her shoulder, she warns, "Hey, I, um, I'm going to go get pretty close to it here. If you want to get off, do it now." She'd give a brief grace period before she began to run, picking up her pace and herself up as tall a building as she could find among the two fighting titans. She needed to get up there, and her best bet was first the building, and leap from that onto the giant shadow. From there she climbed up its side and back until she made it to the head - and then she jumped, trying to catch onto one of the rings.
The chill of the shadowbeast likely saved a lot of her skin. She became tangible for just an instant, but an instant was all it took to burn every inch of bare skin and draw out a harsh pained grunt. With her, though, she was bringing as much of that ring as she could. It wouldn't be a lot, but hopefully it would be enough to knock it a little more off balance or disrupt it a little more.
Aggression(Disruption) against the Rings!
